Amanda is what you might call a 'bird nerd'. She's spent the last four years of her life studying the ecology of migratory shorebirds in Darwin Harbour. With a bunch of bird tattoos and more than 20,000 invertebrates in jars, Amanda is not your average ornithologist. Amanda takes to the mudflats where one bird changed her philosophy on hope and conservation.
