Sometimes there is a single moment that shapes lives. For Carine, a Congolese woman who lives with her family in Palmerston, that moment was several years ago, in Camaroon, when a woman from the UNHCR asked Carine to come into her office. Carine has never forgotten what the woman said but wishes more than anything that she could remember the woman’s name.
